Eugene Yi has a diverse background in government and technology. Most recently, he co-founded Loci in 2022 and subsequently joined Epic Games. His private sector experience includes roles as VP of Creative Development & Strategy at Kuku Studios, National Digital Director for Mike Bloomberg's Presidential Campaign, Director of Product at Hawkfish LLC, and Visiting Researcher at the MIT Media Lab.

Eugene began his career at the U.S. Department of Defense as Country Director for China & Korea, later serving on the Strategy, Plans, and Capabilities team. He then served as a Political Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing before transitioning to tech as the Head of Asia Public Policy at Twitter and a Policy Fellow at Google.

Eugene holds a PhD from the University of Oxford, an MA in Public Affairs, and a BA in International Affairs from Princeton University.
