Payal Kamat brings over 15 years of rich experience in government advocacy, political advocacy, and communication.

She previously led civic engagement, product advocacy, and partnerships for Twitter in India and the South Asia region. Prior to Twitter, she worked with the Indian Political Action Committee on political campaigns and voter mapping. She has also served as a special duty officer for Indian Members of Parliament and worked for Google India on Google News.

Payal earned her MA in Politics and Communications from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
